This is my second blog. It is about iPhone hacking and jailbreaking. If you are a geek, you know that a Mac is just a BSD userland running over a darwin kernel, with a proprietary Apple interface. The iPhone OS is just a slimmed down version of Mac OS X. So, the iPhone OS is really a UNIX system. Apple tries to prevent users from fully exploiting the iPhone, by locking down what can and can't be done with the device. By jailbreaking, you can legally fully exploit the potential of this great device, as a phone, and as a mobile UNIX workstation.
