She's been online for almost 2 years, still learning dreamweaver. Sadly, other than adding photos when they are sent in by crew members, updating the crew list by finding out another old sailor has passed away is an unfortunate task. Any recommendations for making the site more user friendly would be appreciated.
OfflineVery nice website. You have put a lot of work in it.
The piictures you have stored there are valuable to all in them. I wish there were a way that you could notify all of them that you web site exists.
Seems the NAVY could help. Help with some portion of it.??
God bless you for serving in our armed forces to keep me and my wife and children and my grandchildren safe here in the USA.
I was in the Air Natl guard in the 1960's – learning how to put a bayonette on the end of a rifle to keep my "neighbors" in line should a riot occur. In my 20's. Thank God we only went through the motions and never had to do it. I would never been able to sleep at night if I had had to stab a person over racial unrest. What a waste.
Again, thanks for keeping us all safe.
OfflineI echo what David said. Thanks for keeping us all here in the USA safe.
@David: in my 9th grade history class (oh those where the good old days) my teacher told us in the 60s there was a short-lived program in the USA where American soldiers were given atomic-rifles (i.e. guns that could shoot nuclear grade ammuniation or something). I did google it and it turns out there is some truth to that (you can obviously guess why it was short-lived
).
My question is did you ever get your hands on one of them?
