OfflineI don't see anything different in the forum replys or the main site comment area.
OfflineWait a minute, I just noticed that I can still edit the last comment I left for the article about CapsLock Warning. I left that comment hours ago, and there are comments left after mine. Normally we only get what, about ten minutes to edit comments? So I guess there has been a change.
OfflineI'll check out the wysiwyg pronto by seeing if I can edit a post I wrote within the last 10 minutes.
However that said, in any case I prefer allowing "edit" only for a "limited time" rather than "indefinitely". It makes the dottech experience more enjoyable.
Almost 100% of dottech is about "reading a written word" or "writing words". It feels nicer to read if "whoever" who wrote thought through before writing what he wrote……… rather than getting careless or lax just because of being able to edit endlessly. A limited edt time makes for a "better blooper proofing level" than an "unlimited edit time".

OfflineYes, it worked. I used the "Edit Your Post" gui icon on my thread headboard. So it is for a 10 minute span eh?
Makes sense.
QED!
A simple winner of an idea all around

WYSIWYG is "What You See Is What You Get". Basically, when you write a forum post here you are using a WYSIWYG editor – you don't have to use any code and can use the buttons to format your message. I want to have the same thing for comments.
Also, thanks for the editing time limit suggestion. I will keep it in mind.
