I've seen many forums have live chat boxes for members to talk among themselves. Sometimes I feel like asking just a quick question and sometimes making a topic on the forum doesn't seem worth it on such an easy/small question like that. So possibly maybe if somehow a chat box might work if people just want to chat. It would also be helpful if the chat box could be disabled for those who don't want to chat…or have an option to opt-out or something……just a quick suggestion for the admins…..(ahem). Ashraf & Locu

A chat box has been a requested feature for a really long time. There are two main reasons I have not added one, yet:
1) There needs to be regular moderation to prevent spamming. I am having trouble as it is finding time to write articles; I can't moderate a chat box.
2) I am not sure SimplePress has support for a chat box. I haven't really looked into it much, though (because of reason #1), so I can't say for sure.
