What’s happened to the home page. For me, with Forefox, it’s dark blue background with black writng. It’s unreadable, even if I brighten my display etc. Has it been hacked? Reminds me of magazines that have colored backgrounds for text. Just makes it harder to read.Frown

In IE7, the home page appears compromised in some way.

I was able to get here, by way of “Freebies” and the link to this thread that then appeared as part of the page proper.

The only part of the homepage that is visible and scrollable is “Freeware Yadis! Backup” and above.  According to the right-hand browser scrolling bar, the page ends there.

Me too. Whether I'm using IE8, Chrome, Opera and/or Pale Moon. Right now all content on right side of Home page is empty.

Yup, me too!

Using Win 7 (64bit) + FireFox 4.01, gives the right hand column of the Home Page tacked on below the “Page 1 of 88″ line.

Win 7 (64bit) + Chrome 12.0.742.100, the same as FF 4.01

Win 7 (64bit) + IE9 9.0.8112.16421 stops at the banner of the first post, which is currently:

“Posted June 18th, 2011 l Author: Guest Author l Filed under:, etc.”

then nothing else!

Other pages seem OK.

Watching with interest.

Using IE8, now all I'm seeing on the home page is the DotTech header with links, the brown box AV comparison, and the Yadis Subject title link below the brown box. Nothing else below that and nothing on the right side of the page. This forum page seems fine.

IE8 browser. Everything is back on the home page, but it's all on the left side, leaving the right side of the page blank.

Looks normal again at my end….familiar colors and layout. But the Yadis backup giveaway topic is missing.

@ Ashraf: Colors/columns normal, but no Yadis topic.  Nearly there!  Cool

P.S.  The “edit” function worked!  Surprised

Yeah that Yadis backup topic had some messed up HTML that was causing the issues.

Glad to hear the edit function works now.

@ Ashraf:  You know we all reported that you had cured the “mixed up” Home Page problem?  Well try page 81 (and upwards) of the Home Page!  It's all black and white on blue, with the right hand column at the bottom.  Just when you thought it was cured.  Only a sadoe (someone considered sad for their hobbies/interests) like me scours these archives, but they have many nuggets of pure gold.

P.S.  Update: The edit function works on this forum post, but doesn’t work on posts to non-forum posts.
