As you can see in this screenshot

The side of the forum is being cut off. This does not only happen to me in Google Chrome, I've also tested this in Firefox.

Any suggestions?

I get that too.  This seems to happen in several topics.  I think it happens when someone posts something that is wider than the forums but cannot be resized or wrapped.  I'm thinking that line after the third sentence might be the culprit in that thread…

Yeah, thats a common problem with the forums script I am using. I have manually fixed the issue, though. It should work just fine.

And what would that 'familiar screenshot program' be, & is it still available?

Also, when I clicked on the image I couldn't find which was the real close button, so after clicking on several things on the image,the page froze--even after trying refresh--, so I had to come back here by starting over!

For me the image opens up a new page. 

The screenshot program is FastStone: http://dottech.org/freewaresr/5238

When it comes to screenshotting programs, there are tons of (free and
commercial) choices people have. Ever since I started using FastStone
Capture a couple of years back, I have fallen in love with the program.
It is easy to use, feature filled, and has this lovely floating toolbar
most other screenshot programs lack. In fact, everyday dotTechies enjoy
the fruits of FastStone Capture's labor – all screenshots on dotTech
were taken using the program.

I want to note that my screenshots are not taken using this tool.  I use Snipping tool, available in Windows as a default app.

I used to use Snipping Tool but then found FS Capture.

@Locutus: It opens a new page because it is improperly linked to a Photobucket image.

Yeah, I had been meaning to download it for a while, but I just now found a good reason to do so.

And, I'm not exactly sure how to properly link an image if that's not the right way.

I fixed it for you. For future reference, just make sure the URL ends with a .png, .jpg, .gif, etc. – that will make it work properly.
