OfflineI'm a sort of Jack-of-all-trades. Lately, I've been an ETL developer using DataStage, before that SAS or NF and Unix, before that I was a Sybase DBA, HP and Solaris SA. I work on Oracle, Sybase, DB2, and others. My main OS is Unix, but I've worked on Linux and mainframes (Z/OS and MVS). I still know most of the IBM mainframe languages.
Sadly, my windows education is lacking and I need a lot of help to do anything in this convoluted Gates invention.
I'm also a dinosaur, having worked on DOS way back when it was a mainframe operating system, and Bill Gates was still in grade school.

OfflineI have studied programming a long time ago… when only pascal cobol basic and a few other languages existed…
I made actually my college paper on a software solution for libraries written in Clipper! (the king at that times for managing db3 files). Of course in DOS environment… Nowadays, whoever programmer I ask, he does not even know what clipper is ! :-)
Afterwards, I worked to computer sales industry for many many years… so nothing to do with programming, just extremely familiar with many programming terms and meanings due to my background.
