@3K3:

Thank you very much.  Excellent instructions and excellent launcher.

Noticed your previous offerings, but did not have a use for those apps.

Please give us any more you have time to produce and post.  Cool

      @Ashraf:

Please consider giving 3K3 his own column, section or whatever, if they all like this one then they are pure gold!  Yell

Not at the moment, but I bet I will.  If it's OK with you, I will send you a PM when I think of a candidate.  Obviously no compulsion on your part, only if it interests you.

Can't get over how neat your Inpaint launcher is.  I have a couple of earlier versions installed, but 4.3 and portable is great.  Cool

@3K3: Are you interested? Maybe a weekly portable?

Sure, I'm interested. But I can't make portable (launcher) every week. It's because I don't have "scheduled" free time (my free time varies).

If you cannot catch(make) more fish for us,  perhaps you could teach us how to fish, or point us to the tutorials ?

That way, some of us could do the time consuming work, and post our results.

@3K3: Personally, I never took to fishing, but if you were able to point us in the right direction to create our own portable launchers, that would be great.  In other words RobCR, brilliant idea and me too!  Smile

Thanks 3K3.  I think that fully following up an understanding those links will take (me) some time.  Meanwhile on the GOTD site they are giving away "Giveaway of the Day – iResizer 2.1", which is from also from Teorex.  If you grab it for yourself, can make the launcher available?

In your original post above you say:

"If you have already installed Inpaint just copy 'Inpaint.exe' from installed location to App folder in your portable package."

Does this mean a portability can always be achieved after installation?

Can the launcher/installer be made/built after an app. has been installed?

Don't worry if you don't have time to answer any or all of the above straight away!  Cool

No. You just need to get – in some way – program's files.

Yes, you can make launcher after the program has been installed.

I hope that I answered your questions.Smile
