As this thread title is No Topic, what can I say?
So, we're all technically hijacking this thread by posting about anything at all?

OfflineThought I knew what you meant AlanR. But I wanted to look this up, so thought it may help others too:

complicated situation: a confusing, messy, or complicated situation, especially one that involves disagreement or intrigue

…….so I tried again, but even after trying to edit it out……..no luck……..end result………..3 spaces that look like empty boxes…….Oh well….
The things y'all have to put up with……………………..with me!

Look at the text OR image section(s) of concern and you will see inserted the different codes used for the various effects. just edit these out and you will have a clearer view.
This trick also helps remove those annoying "returns" where lines are cut short and text continues on next line.
Example : <p> (Your text here) </p>
Where the <p> and </p> denote start and end of a paragraph.
Hope the example shows O.K. as I'm not sure if the html will allow it.
I'm not expert in html so can only hope.
Other functions? Just look at the coded version and they should become self evident.
Hope this brief note helps.

Drat, you spoilt the intrigue and fun for others finding out for themselves.
I always like to remember the truncated definition as "a confused heap" (jibbering on the floor), which just about sums up how we all can so easily become.
P.S. – I was actually expecting someone to come back asking what the acronym meant (don't ask), not a serious response, Silly me.

@AlanR
You can use
to denote code that you want the show barely. But it's okay here without using the
tag.
@Al: I thought IMBROGLIO was an Acronym.
Clever dick.
Pity the graphics cannot be read easily by those having chromatic visual impediment (colour blindness).
Just don't see your point.
Acronym – HaHaHaHaHAHAHAHA…
