All of us at one time or another have tried to uninstall an application only to be presented with the message "Cannot open INSTALL.LOG".

If you get such a message try this:

Go to and open the folder of the program you want to uninstall. Locate the INSTALL.LOG, right click on it and select 'Copy'.

Open C: drive (or whatever you use for your root drive) then right click and select 'Paste'. A copy of the INSTALL.LOG should now be on your root C drive.

Go back to the folder of the program you wish to uninstall and locate 'unwise.exe' or 'unwise32.exe', right click on it and select 'create shortcut'.

Right click on the unwise.exe shortcut you just created and at the end of the target start parameter add c:install.log leaving a space between " and c.

Example:

"C:Program Files101 ClipsUNWISE.EXE" c:install.log

Double click on the unwise.exe shortcut you created and the uninstall process should commence.
