If you are interested in Linux but would not want to go through all the hassle/trouble of partitioning, blablabla, all those tech geeky stuffs (you know what I mean), I recommend you to take a look at Wubi.

“Wubi is an officially supported Ubuntu installer for Windows users that can bring you to the Linux world with a single click. Wubi allows you to install and uninstall Ubuntu as any other Windows application, in a simple and safe way. Are you curious about Linux and Ubuntu? Trying them out has never been easier!”

-Quoted from the Wubi official download site

If you want to know more, all you have to do is do a Google search for “Wubi”. OR you can check out these links:

http://www.howtoforge.com/wubi_ubuntu_on_windows (sort of a guide)
http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/130713
(sort of a 'personal' review by an IT technician)

You can download it from any one of these links:

http://download.cnet.com/Wubi/3000-2094_4-10701841.html
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Boot-Manager-Disk/Wubi.shtml

Or Check out this video link on Youtube:

Hope that helps.
