Maybe try this and see if you have better luck.

@ Steelers6: No idea. I can click on the link with no problems. It is thedirect link to the YPops site, which is legit, so I can't think of why you would have that problem. Why not try just googling Ypops, and that will bring up the Ypops home page at the top of the list. Try clicking from there. Otherwise, I don't know. Like I said, I can go directly there.

Yes kinda, Asharf did a poll about what email users e-mail of choice was. The winner was Gmail and one of the 2 reasons listed is that Yahoo doesn't have Pop access, only forward.

So my cousin and now Quaro says they have it in both inda and the UK. I checked it out and sure enough they do. So you don't need any special software to use India and UK Yahoo with you Pop Outlook or similar client. I thought it was pretty neat, I wonder why they won't do this in the US?

Thanks for the YPOPS, but now I can do it without any extra software but good to know about it.

Oh the second reason for Gmail winning was it can be used as storage but I don't know how to do this.

Yahoo in the US won't work with outlook POP mail only forward, I tried. All I could get was a forward from Yahoo.com to Outlook now with the UK and from what Quro says you can sign up and send and receive your yahoo right from outlook. I already set up a Yahoo uk in my Outlook. It worked great.

I actually use Gmail too because of it's ablity for Pop but now that Yahoo has it at least more choices. Lots of people don't trust Gmail.

The other nice thing about Yahoo is you can send attachments as large as 100MB.

I'm not pro Gmail or Pro Yahoo, I just thought it was a nice find. I hate fetching email from online unless I'm on the road.

We all in Indonesia don't have that problem with Yahoo. Just sign up with Yahoo Indonesia (yahoo.co.id) and enable your pop mail support in the option tab. Just like that.
For me, I am still GMail's warrior although I already have for about 4 accounts with yahoo.
Still GMail is my way!

I don't have a smart phone yet, but I'm hoping to get one soon. I don't know if you can do that with Gmail. Gmail users please chime in.

I saw Asharf's poll why most people use Gmail is because of the Pop issue, so I hope this gives you more options now.

I just recently found that Yahoo doesn't support Pop Mail, but my cousin told me they do in the uk.

So if your a Yahoo Fan and want to use POP Mail, now you can just sign up for a UK email.

Just go here to sign up.
http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache:VMBvXqrY0AoJ:uk.mail.yahoo.com/+Yahoo+email+uk&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

Make sure to put UK instead of US. Then put in the zip code. Here is one to use. G2 3WT

Then Pick any email, it's just like the US.

If you want to auto send to your Outlook or similar program, here are the Pop settings.

Incoming Mail Server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 995

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication

Account Name/Username: Youremail@yahoo.co.uk
Email address: Youremail@yahoo.co.uk
Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password

Now you will have co.uk at the end but the Yahoo Uk is more like the premium version of the US.

I have not used Yahoo because of the Pop issue but now it is all good. I can sync it with my MS. Outlook.
