@ mikehart and Gibbster. I agree. Are any of the Admins. listening? There are a lot of members and many would help. Meanwhile, everybody should try find something to post about or a post to reply to.

Anyways, I got a couple of question maybe someone can answer?
Recenntly I have been see this pop bar that pops of on like every site i go to about "security certificate errors"??? and it on IE 8
It been pissing me off, I looked up about it and try the advice and it didn't do anything.
Some help would be awesome!

HI Gibbster, you mentioned that you tried the advice but what advice did you actually try. It might get you more answers here. You probably have but I'll ask anyways, have you checked to see if your time and date is correct, it's just one of the most common reasons. If that's not it let us know, I'd be willing to help.
I would also be willing to help with the site depending on what and if/when I have time.

I just google it and came up to http://www.ehow.com and test it out what it said and didn't work, it asked me to tools, internet options, advanced and check these settings. the other said something about clicking on the content tab which was confusing.
Well ever since my dad install this really good website maker without my permisson, after a while the date stopped and its been sitting on this date for like 4 weeks?
Its crazy but then i got the idea to install a program that has free trials and well it wouldn't count the days off but I have been to busy trying to do school stuff.

First I'd like to say sorry for these last reply's for they have nothing to do with the topic.
Now @ Gibbster, not sure why the website maker would stop the date so that's probably not the cause, but it doesn't really matter as long as you can fix it.
Not sure what you mean about you installing a program with free trials that wouldn't work, was it to fix the time problem?
I don't know what ehow mentioned that didn't work but if it was to fix your time and date and you haven't figured out how to do it yet then do this:
1. Right click at the clock icon located at the bottom right corner of your screen.
2. Now select "Adjust Date/ Time" option on the resulting window. You will see a small window popping up as you click on "Adjust Date/ Time" option.
3. Now click on the "Change Date and Time" bar to fix your computer clock. As you do, you will see a small window pop up with a calendar on its left hand side and a clock on its right.
4. In order to set the time and date right, you will have to make the selection manually. Click on the present date. If you wish to change the month or year, you can do so by clicking on the right or left arrow displayed on the top of the calendar. To fill in the right time you can make use of the up/down arrow or enter the time manually.
5. After choosing the date and the time, you have to click "OK". The present window will disappear and you will return to the previous window. If you wish to change the time zone, click the change time zone tab displayed under the "Change Date and Time" tab.
6. Choose the right time zone to fix your computer clock from the pull down menu. After you are done with the selection process, click on "Apply" tab to apply the changes made. Now click "OK". Once you click "OK", the window will disappear and you will see right time and date displayed on computer screen.
4 weeks is a long time to let this go, I guessing your software like antivirus and anything else hasn't been able to update since then.
hope you get/got it fixed.

The trial program is still on 8 days left. I also try changing the date to the current but it manages to change back to this date. 1/24/2011
also I don't have av update they work just fine.

Hey Gibbster, I've never had the problem your having so can't really offer anymore advise. I did find this link, won't get into it but it might be your problem, can always check it out http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vista/808286-can-change-time-but-clock.html

Can we go back to my and others questions regarding the continued upkeep of this once great site, there must be someone who knows what is going on, you have a lot of support out there, PLEASE just one line to inform us of the state of play, if it is to die then we can all move on,
not to much to ask from an admin is it?
