Sometimes as soon as you get in a car, you know if you like it or not. The problem with some small engined cars, is they don't have the power to get up hills, out on the open road. And no, I'm not joking.

I've never been in a hybrid, don't know what they're like.

Couple of things to keep in mind when buying a car.

Will you be towing a trailer.

Boot space.

When you do decide on a car. Get it checked out by an independant company.

Have a look on the net to see if people are having any problems with the car.

Is cruise controll required. (very nice on the open road)

It may not be an option for you, but just in case. You can get a car a few years older, a higher spec model and a little cheaper.

Well, it's finally the time of the year when i get to finallly get my own car. It's going to be used [from an auction or dealer] and I'm looking at a 2009-2011 model [2011 if I'm really lucky, but heart set out for 2010].

 

Right now the two cars I am looking ar are the Hyundai Elantra GLS [gotta have that AC!!] and the Honda Insight [base level trim]

Norw seeing as how gas prices are on the rise [it's about 4.20 down here] I want a car with good mileage. The Honda Insight does fit it being a hybrid, but i wanted to know other opinions on these cars and other cars that are great to ride [and also great MPG wise!]
