Current status of this Webiste?

As a regular visitor I have noticed that, over the past few weeks, there have been no new posts on the main pages i.e., Home page and Freebies. Will this be permanent or is it just a quiet time of year?

Yes, I come here a lot too. It almost seems like it has been abandoned. Perhaps they should post they are offline until X date or something. I love this site but it seems to have gone dark.

I am a regular visitor too, but I heard somewhere here it's due to school. I just started college this year, but I understand it can get pretty hectic at times for a full time student. Heck, I'm swamped with work right now!

But yea, a little time line of the quiet season would be nice…

We can't really say. All that of course depends on Ashraf, and he never really gave much detail about how long he would be gone. So he may never come back… But probably just on break.

ashraf just got recruited a couple weeks ago. he is now in a computer alb downloading files (of various softwars under categories) and is running them, testing them, and stuff like that :)

im happy for ashraf.. maybe he will share hte best softwares he tried out? i hope so

btw if you fell for this hahahah

the infrastructure of the site is here for us to use it and exploit it.

the members are also responsible for the quality of the forum, so we must keep it running and try to continue the high standards.

my only dissapointment is that I miss the wonderful reviews, even in rapid format…

Well said, jumbi. Ashraf is forking out for the cost of maintaining this site and forum so it really is down to dot techies to use it or lose it. That said, a word from The Wise One would be much appreciated sooner rather than later, lest rumors get around that he's been kidnapped by aliens.
