Ok folks, we're coming down to the wire here. There's a guy standing in the corner with his hand on the towel! He hasn't picked it up yet, but he's getting close to doing it…

I just checked the vote count, as of right now we need to get 30 votes per day until the contest ends in 16 days. That's a lot of votes. It's time to teach grandma how to run a computer so she can vote too!

The above calculation was done using today's votes, so if the leader gets more votes, then we need to get more too.

Well, I guess this thread isn't doing much to help. The vote count went up by a whole 3 votes yesterday, which brings the total to 20 since I started this thread. Not very impressive at all.

I think it's time to grab my life-jacket, there's water coming over the sides of this sinking ship… Or, as has been referred to earlier, the "towel" is now flying through the air and is about to land.

To Ashraf: I hope you know that in the eyes of most of us, dotTech is the "Best Geek Blog" out there. And you've already won the "Wheezer's Best of the Best" award for 2009. Sorry, I don't have a fancy badge thingie that you can add to your blog as a prize.

I'll still be hoping that people will rally and vote before the contest ends! It just seems to be a waste to keep this thread going when it isn't helping.
