When mines is over heated it's around… say 5 degrees or a bit more? With the cooler fan, it reduced to… 1 degrees… something like that. :)

@Whoever asked about the graphics card: Laptops generally don't have the ports for a graphics card unless they came with a card.

This might be a (very) silly idea, but have you ever thought of *under*clocking your laptop (and maybe the video card)?
I've heard/read it can reduce the heat from laptops (and extend batter life).
you'd have decide if the trade-off of a underperforming, but cooler running, laptop (underclocked) is worth it.
err … how to do it?
I suspect if you were to google your laptop make, model and video card with the word underclock, you'd find something

UPDATE: Oh wow… right after I finished writing this reply, there was a "World or Warcraft" advertisement on the sidebar… very weird…
I'm completely confused right now, but I have 2 laptops. One is home use and the other is my personal laptop. My personal laptop has 4GB of ram (upgrade like I said before), and I use my trusty "Targus Cooling Fan" so my laptop won't over heat. Seriously Locu, get a cooling fan! Gosh man… I thought you were more pro than me in technology and all that… :P
BTW, I don't play World of Warcraft. 1. you have to pay, 2. I don't play intense violent video games (Cod and Halo are like borderline between Teen and Mature, but games like GTA and God of War are super mature games), and 3. how do you play WOW… -_-"

Joji, have you ever heard of Crysis? that's better than any of the mentioned, and it actually has a sembalence of a plotline. And Crysis 2 is coming out this year, i've pre ordered it already >.<

WoW used to be fun back in its day. I had a lvl 60 druid, rocked everyone. Then I quit, but came back for the expansion, then quit for good.

I heard about Crysis, I saw it on Machinima many times… I might check it out…
…and guys if your laptops are over heating or if you guys use it a lot, then get a cooling fan this weekend. I mean it. Seriously.
1. It will decrease your computer's performance if it's over heated, 2. cooler fans makes your laptops last longer 3. cooler fans aren't expensive.
Either get "Cooler Master" or "Targus". Though I prefer "Targus" brands because they have quieter cooler fans.

Laptop coolers are mostly junk. There are only a few good ones that are worth buying, and those are the more expensive ones.
