I'm going off what the announcers said on TV as the officials were carrying the medals out to give to the US players. I thought they should get silver. Would only make sense.
Before the medals were given to the players, I looked out the front window and there was a guy walking up the driveway carrying a shotgun dressed in winter camouflage. So I got up and went out to find out who it was and what the heck he was doing here. (Just turned out to be my brother under the face mask, hunting squirrels.)
By the time I got back inside they were giving the gold medal to the last of the Canadian players.
So I hope I heard wrong, maybe you folks can help me clear up the confusion.
Refpeuk: Congratulations to you, your beloved team, and Canadians everywhere! At least we lost to good people. :-)

Our closing ceremonies are looking pretty impressive too!
I'm really happy with how these Olympics turned out. We broke the record for most gold medals won in a single Olympics by one country.
I still think the best part was the opening ceremonies, though.

haha, I was at work when the opening ceramony was on, so we turned all the TV's to the opening ceramony. It was great! (I work at myer btw)
