That's a secret until I have all 10 seasons of SG1 downloaded.
Man, that's one huge 73.3 GB d/l.! Have been at it like for ages and about 67% done so far.
Don't get SyFy in my location so have to rely on d/l's for SG-U. Have all up to S01E10. Are there any more to find?
Haven't tried HuLu yet, but think it may be blocked by my ISP. Is it worth investigating further? And, if so, what's the "secret", tell me more..
LOL
OfflineI doubt your ISP would block Hulu – it is a completely legit website. Rather, Hulu is for USA only; anyone not from the USA will be blocked from viewing (unless you use a proxy, of course).
That said, forget Hulu. They plan on putting up a paywall later this year so it will be useless to most of us soon. Find other sources, like http://www.fancast.com/.
No offense, but doesn't the iPad suck like hell? Here are the reasons why:
-3-4 drops on the carpets will create "lines" on the screen"
-coffee spill will completely destroy the iPad
-whoops… it fell on to the hard floor… it's done.
-screen is un-scratchable, the back is highly scratchable
So you got the iPad right? Just to let you know, go buy the world's best protection gear, including arm strap, back case, front case, and protective screen cover thing. Oh, and don't forget your trusty iPad bag or what ever. :)

OfflineNope I like my gadget "naked". I've had my iPhone for almost two years dropped it to a tile floor from counter height (luckily landed on it's back), had it slide off of the trunk of my car, etc. Never had a problem with it. The iPad feels much more sturdy so no I'm not worried about it. Even if the back does scratch it's not going to affect it's use.
And all of those things you mentioned would definitely destroy my 17" HP laptop. I'm much less worried about the iPad. I may end up getting a bag for convenience but not really for protection. And a coffee spill is much more likely to destroy the laptop because it would just go in between the keys and get on the circuit boards. E iPad has many fewer openings for the liquid to get in.
And in general, laptops, net books, iPads, etc are not really toys. If I planned on treating my things like a child, I wouldn't have bought them in the first place.
OfflineI love the "Will it blend" videos!!! 99% of them are fantastic!!!
Good find Jyo!

For better and for worse…here's the comparison I've seen: http://www.engadget.com/2010/04/05/hp-slate-to-cost-549-have-1-6ghz-atom-z530-5-hour-battery/

Many thanks Ashraf. LOL – will try out the fancast link, it looks interesting.
As for HuLu, I am outside USA – that's why it's blocked…

Hey I'm not the only Stargate fan here! Stargate Atlantis FTW! pssh… pssh… torrents… cough*
Hells yea! SGA is the best. they only showed the first 2 episodes here, how bif of a file is each episode?
I just rent the dvd's, and since i'm paranoid, i make a "back up" so i can still return/replace the dvd's. (and put it on my itouch…..)
iPad = 2-3 drops on the ground = screen broken
iPad = falls into puddle of water = completely dead
Take the iPad with extreme care! Don't believe me? Then google it… I don't see why an iPad is so special. It's just a larger version of the iPhone. No offense really…
…and Flash! Why, how can I survive without flash? :(

Offline@ Joji:
iPad = 2-3 drops on the ground = need to see doctor because of motor coordination problems or need to lay off the grog.
iPad = falls into puddle of water = need head read for carrying it across a body of water without sticking it in a bag first or need to lay off the grog for thinking you could carry it across a body of water without potential repercussions.
