@ yourpalal: Thanks. At least someone looked at it!
I looked at it too and thought it was well done with lots of creativity. I'd even typed up a reply saying so. But that damdable math thing kept telling me that 5+10 isn't 15, so eventually I gave up, thinking I'd try again later.
But then I forgot… Oops.

OfflineAdrian:While I may choose slightly different words than Ashraf used, I agree with what he said. So I'll hold off a few days on your ID, unless you tell me you are going to keep the new one you have now.
May I humbly suggest a google search for "free avatar." You'll get half a zillion results to look thru. You may find something that you like or get an idea for an avatar that you like more and can make yourself.

@Ashraf: Thinking about a new avatar.
Aside from the humour @yourpalal, let there be no confusion of interpretation.
My suggestion can be deciphered thus;
Bard = Shakespeare (a famous writer.)
Quille (or Quill) = A writing pen made from the shaft of a feather.
Hope that helps conjure up useful images.

Hey AlanR: Thanks
Ya, I get serious on such issues as security, & use comedic relief
(hopefully
) & goofy quips alot. I'm that way after overcoming alot of hardships & adversity, so I hope you'll try to understand (or at least tolerate); even this week, we've been digging out of the worst & deadliest flooding ever recorded,
…….but…….it's a way of dealing with 'stuff' like that……..life does goes on!
"Comedy is tragedy plus time"
And now……back to your regularily scheduled programs (topics
)
Offline@yourpalal : Commiserations on your mire – get clean soon.
Likewise; I too try to mix wit & whim surreptitiously with more serious matter. Ofttimes this goes completely unnoticed and misunderstood by most – hence reason I felt it necessary to explain my one line quip to ensure the correct message was clear.
Rest easy on it – O.K.

Man,………. I can feel your pain
………….. (even the best don't always get it……such as in what I face often--"What a tough crowd!"
)
Also, thanks for considerate comments!

Too bad:
Will nonetheless treasure it until I can get round to enhancing my avatar – the "young chap" shown was drawn up quickly whilst still in the old "I'm new around here" era and now needs "ageing" to reflect a more mature figure befiting my advances in ranking (currently = GEEK if memory serves me correctly).
With gratitude and humility – thanks.
OfflineAdrian : Have noticed your new avatar and am sure you chose it carefully.
Unfortunately, to me (and presumably many others having similar "colour blindness") it appears as a dark smudgy block.
The intended impact is therefore negative. Care to try again.?
