You will have to buy a new modem, something you may want to consider.

Also, I have seen many Qwest promotions in the wild so before you purchase from them you may want to look for them. http://slickdeals.net is a good place to start looking.

In my area cable is available with Midcontent Communications. I've had their service before and it was ok, but costly.

While looking into it today I found that I can also get it through Qwest at about a $10 per month saving. I have never used or known anyone that has had Qwest. A google search for "Qwest hate" brought up lots of matches but they were all a year or more old so don't give accurate information for what their service is like now.

Has anyone out there used Qwest for their internet provider? I would appreciate any opinions about their service.
