After searching a few different forums for info about why it dissapeared, I ended up finding the developer's email address somewhere. So I sent him an email asking if it's gone for good or if it'll be available again.
I just got this reply:
"I'm preparing to upload "Memory Fox" version 1.4. I've temporarily disabled the download until I post the new.

When I tried to add Memory Fox to my new computer a couple minutes ago, I couldn’t find it in the “Add-ons” in fire fox.
So I went to Ashraf's article about it, to use the links in the post. The direct download link gives a message saying add-on not found. The link to the Memory Fox Homepage takes me to a page that says “The blog you were looking for was not found.”
I don’t know what’s going on for sure, but it looks like it’s been discontinued. ???
Anybody hear anything about it being discontinued?
