OfflineSeems like all the e-mails are updating! heres whats new according to google:
A new look for GmailWe’ve pruned our pixels and made it easier to get to Contacts and Tasks.
- Mail, Contacts, and Tasks links have moved to the top left of Gmail.
- Compose mail is now a button rather than a link.
- A smaller header area puts the first message in your inbox about 16 pixels higher on the screen.
The Select All, None, Read, Unread, and Starred links that used to be above your messages are now options in a drop-down menu, next to the Archive button.

OfflineI read your post and then looked at my account. I see nothing good about any of the changes they made. All they did for the way I use email, is to slow the process and put garbage in the way of where other stuff should be.
OfflineReally? Since Gmail's had the linking ability for a lot longer, I've linked….
in addition to my actual account.
Yes, I have 14 email addresses, why? (Only three are really used much… the rest just sit around collecting virtual dust.)
I could've sworn that I had a Yahoo hooked up too, I guess I forgot to enable the sending part and just did the receiving part.
@Locutus: Yahoo doesn't forward emails well. I used the import feature from gmail on a Yahoo account, and it only worked half the time (well, the initial import was fine, I'm talking about continue importing future emails after the initial import was done). The Yahoo auto-forward feature also isn't free, right?

OfflineThe only thing I don't particularly like about the new update is the fact that it's broken a few of the themes built-in to GMail. In particular, any theme which would have added images surrounding or appearing behind specific areas of the left-side bar doesn't look right. This is especially noticable on the "Desk" theme.
However, I was using the "High Score" theme for my GMail, and one of it's tweaks was that the Quick Contact list got a border that made it look like the list was on the screen of an old-school arcade machine. With the new update that effect is ruined. If they can fix this I probably wouldn't even spare a thought for it.
Offline@ The Living Spirit: How do you do that particular tweak? I generally change around my themes every few weeks for the sake of variety. I just tried a few to see if there were any problems, but they were all working fine. Now I'm back to the Planets theme.
Offline@pheonix: I think you misunderstood my post. The Quick Contact list's border is a part of the theme – but with the interface change, the border is now mostly missing (only a slight part of the bottom remains) and the effect has been ruined.
Having checked just now, I might also add that this is still the case. And I have even cleared my cache just to be sure.

I'll probably never use it just because I rarely make phone calls.
But I do feel sorry for Skype.
