I decided to start this thread after reading the comments and seeing the pics about the Northern Lights in another thread.

On Cogizio a few days, or maybe a week ago, Locutus wrote an article about the website: Astronomy Picture of the Day. I've been visiting the site for about a year now and was glad to see it get the well deserved publicity.
I tell ya folks, it's got some of the most boring pics you could ever want to see. However, from time to time it's got a picture or video that is just amazing!
Today's pic (5/22/10) is one of the amazing ones.
You can check out past pics in their archive by clicking the "Discover the Cosmos" link above the picture or the "Archive" link at the bottom of the page.
On the website, right under the pic they give an explanation of what the pic is.

I thought I'd give your site a little more promotion by mentioning that you'd written about the picture of the day site already, but I guess that must have been the wrong thing to do. 
And how would I know you've got something planned for saturday night. Sheesh, it feels like I'm explaining myself to an ex-wife!

It's ok little borg… (pats locutus on the head). I know, the big bad shodan probably freaked you out.
Aren't the Shodan a race of people in one of the star trek series?

Hmmm. Oh well.
Either way, I've gotta be on a plane 9 hours from now. Time to head to bed.
