As the title says, if you want a custom forum rank (i.e. instead of "Nerd" you can request to be something else, for example), post your request here. If the request is appropriate, I will give you the custom rank. If it is not, I will have my minions eat your eyeballs. (Just kidding.)
Update: New rule – you need atleast 50 posts on the forums to request a custom
rank!

The term Newbiee is, IMHO, more appropriate for those tagged "I am new
around here" don't you think? 
I am desirous of shaking the NERD tag and, having in the past seen/used the term Guru in reference to your goodself, am thinking of keeping some similar monastical connotation e.g. Disciple or Novice.
Unless someone can come up with something better, I would be happier with either one of those – the decision though is yours.

Hey! I'm "Old Fart #2" now! And Locutus got his "Guru" ranking!
That was a cool surprise. Altho I think I'll want the Grand Master rank when I reach that number of posts. I think.

I didn't realize I'd made the Grand Master level. Guess that shows how often I look at the ranking.
Would it be possible to have "Grand Master/Old Fart" ?
If not that's ok, but I guess I'd kinda like the Grand Master ranking more.
Geesh, I sound so petty I'm making me sick…

Hey Ashraf i have only just achieved Nerd Ranking (WOOhoo) but am still aspiring to grand master.
Any chance that instead i can have "Young Dude"
Thats pretty much all i want nothin special just because i have been around for quite a while now it's just that i don't post a lot.
If i could get then above tag^^ that would be perfect.
BTW: Its just so people stop thinking i'm a middle aged dude instead. I'm 15 people, i know just as much as you guys………sort of……..
Difficult, to be sure…..but it shall be done!!

As for knowing stuff, I'd bet you probably know more than I do about computers. Altho I'm getting better at faking it.

Very true. Admin's seem to be missing this "duty" as they, no doubt, could easily re-direct such queries.
Problem maybe keeping a thread link (as Karen found out recently) so the poster could more easily find where it went.
As this is a recurring theme, maybe Mr.BOSS could add a button next to FORUMS at top of page or provide some other permanent visible means for getting here quickly.
