Hey Locutus
At 1st I didn't care to know or just guessed (right about 70%) what acronyms like IMHO meant, while others I made up were actually funnier–wish I would have written them down. But after a while I saw them on every forum, so I began to 'investigate.'

The only way I ever learned their meaning was to google them, & sites like Wikipedia; that's all one has to do!

Wow, I can hardly believe that:

 "Acronym Finder contains more than 4 million acronyms and abbreviations…"

I'm not about to start looking now, or I would be so engrossed, that I wouldn't be heard from again for weeks…… (although, IMHO, that's not necessarily a bad thing!!??!!)
