GWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! My dream finally came true! New 360! I love your PCBasics! XD

 

After long years of waiting for a new Xbox to arrive, it's almost here! :D For my entire life, I only have a DS Lite, DSi, PSP, Wii, and that's pretty much it.

 

Xbox360 2.0 here I go! …if you look carefully, it's actually A LOT thinner than the original 360! :O

 

Err… it actually looks like a crossover of a Wii and a PS3! :O Though, I think they are trying to copy Nintendo. Look at this:

3D camera… I bet it'll come with 360 Sports; a spinoff of Wii Sports! XD

….you don't know what Project Natal/Kinect/that thing you just showed us is, do you?  It uses the 3D sensors to detect your movements, and it can take 2D pictures with the RBG camera.

Right, now I remember! It's called Natal… everyone in my school hates Natal since they said how "it sucks since it doesn't captured their movements precisely".

 

So it was a waste of money. Hope this "new technology" implanted in 360 2.0 would be better!

They renamed it Kinect.    Also, how would any of your classmates have a chance to try Kinect?  It's been kept from public use for quite a while, so unless your friends work for Engadget or Gizmodo then I don't think they've used it.  Wink

i cant wait till this comes out either (did it even say when?) but any way since i just got a 360, it doesnt seem like i can get another one……but whats the difference: looks, 3d cam thingy, graphics…?????…..but i already am using a hdmi cable for my current 360 so will the graphics even get better…???….but the new xbox does look cool the slim design and shinyness!……huh, maybe i wont get the new xbox but i can try the sample xboxs at the storeLaugh

I thought the new Kinect was an add-on to the 360. So if you just bought one, you can probably get this too.

No, it isn't even available yet. I don't think Microsoft has even announced the date yet. They just officially unveiled it at the E3 conference going on now.

Yup, the Kinect was announced two days ago and will be availible in October for all XBOX 360s (new and old).  However, the advantages the new Xbox has is:

  • Quieter
  • Smaller
  • Dedicated Kinect port (on the old Xbox, it takes up 2 USB ports, on the new one it takes up the Kinect port)
  • …OOH SHINY!!! Surprised

So everyone, it'll work with your old Xbox.

They already start selling it in Canada! Laugh I saw it today at Toys 'R Us! Laugh Looks awesome… but it's $300.00 CAD.

 

I'm not going to buy it yet until they have the special 360 Slim "Halo REACH" Edition. It's gonna be epic! Laugh
