But that PC seems so badly infected, I don't think I would trust it until after a reformat. You'd never know what might still be lurking.

I lost most of the software and that was it.....cause i now save everything to my external HD.....wait.....is it possible to get an infection in an external HD!!??....AHHH...that would be BAD!....and i dont think that MalwareBytes software scan external HDs do they??

In your case, I would choose the complete scan. Also, if you have any removable media (USB keys, drives, etc), be sure to scan them as well.
