My Avira just updated a few minutes ago. Not long after the update Avira started detecting CleanMem as malware:

Although I am curious as to what CleanMem is doing in System32 folder (maybe a programmer can explain it to me better) I have no doubt in my mind this is a false positive by Avira; CleanMem is clean as a whistle as far as I can concerned.

I wonder how to get this resolved. Everytime you run FreeMem, Avira will nag at you.

It should be fixed by Avira soon. However, for now, click on “Ignore” and check that option at the bottom that says something like “Do this for this file everytime”.

I think maybe it's picking it up as Malware because it's messing with RAM?

That's my prediction. I'll be on the look-out for it, because I still have A-Squared until I have nothing better to do than switch back to Avira >_>

Or maybe wait for the big giveaway…

If you are afraid it is, use Malwarebytes Anti-malware. It is great. Even though I edit registry manually to remove viruses malwarebytes makes it much easier.
