I did a search on 'am2+ heatsink' on circuitcity.com and most of the heatsinks range from $30 - $70. I don't know about current AMD processors, but they used to be known for running hot-especially important if you intend to overclock.

What about a DVD drive?

I assume the motherboard has USB ports on it, but do you have any need for a card reader?

A 250MB hard drive seems kinda small these days, especially if you have lots of music/video/photos.

I haven't built a PC in a while, but is there a problem mixing DDR2 on the motherboard and DDR3 on the graphics card?

I would suggest more memory if you can afford it especially if you are going to run a 64-bit OS.

Possibly an external HD (NAS or USB) so that you can back up your data.
