Firefox spell-check

I use Firefox and love the automatic spell-check feature.
Lately tho, when posting here in the dotTech forums it won't work unless I right click and then click on "Check Spelling."
It works automatically on all the other forums I post on and in my email.
Am I missing a setting somewhere that I need to change to make it work all the time here without me having to right click every time I want to post?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello there :o)
you can try to download the portable version of FF(firefox) here and see if this still happens :
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
I use this and it have no problems at all with the spell checking.
Then
If this work, I will suggest you to reinstall your version of firefox, remember to keep it updated (under the feature "Help" and "check for updates"
REMEMBER : if you install firefox again, then remember to write down/backup/copy all your FF settings/favorites/Add ons

If you do re-install, you can use FEBE:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2109
It will back up EVERYTHING for you in 1 convenient file. The just use FEBE from the new firefox to import the backup.
