How do you disable the right-click function for tabbles? I can't seem to find it in the registry… please help!

Are you talking about the right-click context menu entry Tabbles adds or the right-click in the program itself?

I seem to remember posts on dotTech or maybe it was Locutus’s site about programs that could help you manage your right-click menu options. I don’t have any links right now though.

Check this out for managing right-click menus:

   ShellExView (by Nir Sofer) – Shell Extensions Manager

   http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html

Also:

   Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers

Thank you! I love you! XD

You solved 2 of my problems; shell extension manager, and the slow behaviour! Woot! Laugh

This thing is truly epic! Great find great find! It works 100%! It's lightweight, portable, and simple! Make a review about it Ashraf! It's amazing! Laugh

Works like a charm; now my context menu is less cluttered than before!

You want to write about it? You are more than welcome to do so, I can set you up as a guest author. However, if you do decide to write, make sure the post is dotTech-standards, if you get what I mean.

Yes sir! I am ready for battle. As a D.Tech Devastator Squad 2nd Company marine, I have my fingers and mind open to write any article within Dot.Tech's standard!

Ahh… don't you love Warhammer 40k? You get to build, paint, and battle with friends! It's truely the best hobby on earth… except for the fact that it's completely overpriced; a set of 10 tactical marines = $40 CAD! Surprised

But yes, I'm serious sir, I will write within Dot.Tech's standards… no worries. Make me guest author, and I will do just fine…

@The Living Spirit

Dude… you live in the perfect place on earth! England! Nice man… that's where the GamesWorkshop Headquarters are; where they make all the minitures! Lucky… Surprised

Wait… what do you mean by “That's why I never got into it”? Is it to the too expensive part?

Yeah, although actually, that's just one of the reasons. The others are the complexity of the game according to the manuals I've read in the past, and the fact there is no Games Workshop store anywhere nearby me. I must be in one of the ONLY places without one.

Oh. That's a disapointment. There's only one GamesWorkshop closest to where I live; but it's a 30 minutes drive. The other one is just a regular hobby shop, so I can't join in some stuff like “Academy”.

Hi everybody,

I've just put together a small how-to on how to get rid of the RightClick menu (Shell Extension), here:

http://tabbles.net/forum/did-y…..html#p1747

P.S.: if you follow the how-to you can still use your GOTD registration key :-)

BR, Smile

@Andrea

Too troublesome… no offense. Read my first, successful post on how to remove it with a click of button! Laugh
