Have suddenly started seeing an information bar saying " website wants to run add-on JavaWebStart Module". What the heck is this ? Only get on Dottech . As everything is running smoothly why would I need it? Running xp and just went to sp3 but nothing not running fine that I can see. Do I really need it and if not can someone tell me how to get rid of info bar . Thanks

I am confused because dotTech does not run Java. (It uses JavaScript but that is different.) Have you tried to clear your browser cache or tried a different browser?

First  Ashraf I'd like to thank you for for all the hard work you put into Dottech . Being retired and on a pension , I've come to depend on your advice on whether to download a program or not waste my time with it . Thanks to you I now have a number of great programs that I use , and their being free sure does'nt hurt .  Secondly I'm confused too . Oracle website leads me to believe that maybe is used to update Java ? So I might just have old version .Had problems with IE8 so went back to 7 . Will work on that. Thanks again to you and your helpers on running a must see website !
