Let me add to that the farther you go back, the more likely you'll have something "broken" after the restore…

ANNOYING!!!!!!!
I think I remember from one Lifehacker article saying you should only use system restore from safe mode for it to work properly. But it's still blurry to me…
One instance where system restore saved me was when I had a virus lol. This virus disabled my AV and only after restore did my AV work again. I guess it's only useful as a last resort when nothing else works.

Actually i think i might just swith AVs….this screen kind of disturbs me cause it says my computer has no pretection and stuff!
