        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Agreed.  KVM switches work well.  Try to find one that manually switches video only.  You can get ones that also switch USB ports (good if you have a USB printer) but that is more expensive than you need.</p>

<p>Just a note: There are many types of KVM switches and also automatic and manual. In some cases, the manual switch is the most compatible and trouble free.</p>

no…..i have 2 pcs and i need to use one of them for stuff like internet surfing and typing etc. (windows 7) and i have another which surprisingly is an OLD windows 98 which i also need for some files. so what i have been doing is changing monitors and keyboards and everthing each time i need to use a different computer……which sucks alot because of all the time switching between monitors…..theres got to be an easier way!<img src="/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-surprised.gif" alt="Surprised" /></p>
