As far as I know, it is an issue with ICS custom ROMs. Doesn't CM9 have a baked-in third party utility that circumvents this issue? My wife's Infuse runs MIUI and it has something built in to help fix this.

In any case, if you end up not finding a way to connect via USB, you can always use an app like AirDroid for wireless transfer, if you are connected to the same WiFi.

Hey all,

So i recently installed Cyanogenmod9 to my phone, and ever since I cannot connect to my computer.

Before, i had to connect through Kies (the samsung software for transferring, upgrading firmaware, etc.), and only havafter kies recognized it, then only would the SD cards (internal; and external) appear...

I can obviously go the long route: unmount external SD card, take off back cover, remove microsd card, put in sd card adapter, put that into the computer, and go from there... but honestly it would be much easier to just do the whole USB thing.

Are there any suggestions or get arounds you guys have found (maybe not the specific phone model, but if it's similar or something)

thanks
