Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem with werfault.exe
As I said in the topic title werfault.exe can flood my cpu causing it to run at 100%. interesting note: I have disabled Windows Error Reporting.

I have searched for this problem on google and have found that most problems involve 1 or 2 werfault.exe processes hogging the complete cpu and the problem is solved by disabling windows error reporting. This is not the case with me, the processes in and of themselves take up little memory (about 400kb) but there are more than 2000 of them. And as I said before, I have disabled the reporting after the first event.

At first it seemed as if the problem was random, my cpu would flood about 2 or 3 times a day. the only solution was pulling the plug. Although, now it seems to occur specifically when i run chrome (whether this 'improvement' is because i disabled the error reporting, i do not really recal). By installing anvir taskbar manager, i can delete the processes. But by then my computer has slown down to a crawl, which means this takes quite alot of time. Anyone who knows what is causing this, or even better, what a solution might be?

I hope I make some sense and that someone can help me. Thanks in advance ;)

ps: I've thought about installing processtamer and blocking werfault.exe or would that just make vista shit itself?
