OfflineI get this message when i boot up my windows xp machine. I don't even get to log in to the computer. When i click "ok" the windows doesn't even continue to boot up…..it just stays at the "Welcome" screen?
"One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be
recovered by one of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was
successful."
what do i do!?

btw: this site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-u…..56856.aspx says you just have to click ok…….but when i do, the computer doesn't continue to start up :(
*also i'v read a lot of other places that say like run disk scan or something to do with editing the registry……i can't do anyof that because my computer wont even log in……

OfflineIf you don't have the original XP install CD (this can be the case from certain manufacturers, they only ship an image of the computer as it was when you first got it, which is entirely useless for repair purposes), you can borrow someone else's as long as it's the same version of XP.
