I'm going to be installing Windows Server 2008 R2. I have 20gb of free space on d and 200gb on c. I'm going to be installing on d. It says the minimum is 32gb and the foundation is 10gb. So can I install on d?

if it says 32 GB, it means it won't install without it. You'll either have to make some room on D, or you could create an E drive dedicated to the server.
