ok this will probably sound weird as I am sure that very few of you have heard of AIMP media player, and I'm with you too.

But it was pointed out to me recently that it was " the best music player of 2012"… kinda a broad statement but interesting nonetheless.

 

So i figured I would point it out to the dottechies here in case there is something who wants to try it :)

I am thinking of posting a review myself after a few days of trying it, but feel free to beat me to it :D

 

Requirements:

Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7

I was actually on a music player/organizer shopping spree not long ago. I have tried all the recommended ones from major sites like Lifehacker and Gizmo's Freeware, but felt like they only complicated things. Aimp 2.7 I used at the time wasn't too bad, but I could not find a way to resize the window, which made everything including the text extremely small. A review or short how-to from you would be awesome, I will look forward to it. For now, Windows Media Player it is (so many times I have searched for a replacement for WMP, but can never find one as aesthetic or simple). Not many people may agree, but WMP is quite good.
