OfflineThanks for the nice Post on these two Coolautu
..
When i get back home, I plan on getting a new phone since my wife has "Stolen" my Iphone 3G :P I have been wondering if I should get the IP4 or a Droid or maybe even one of the new win7 phones.. couple questions on the post though
i might have missed it. .but re reading it and still dont see.. which of the 2 do you end up "prefering" ? you right good informative information on the two, but you never really say which you think is better in your opinion..
Is the Nokia one a "droid" ? or totally different? since not fully up to speed on the phones atm,, was under impression that it is basically windows, droid, Iphone os, and Blackberry as for the types of smartphones right now.. is this nokias own system and doesnt fall into one of these?
as for the Nidesoft, good info on it,, but wouldnt say its the "only" one .. granted, its an all-in-one and its free, but its definitely not the Only one avail.. plenty of giveaways for Rippers and Converters and combo ripper/convertors out there all the time.. one that is very common giveaway it seems is WinX… so far they do a pretty decent job.. also, Ashraf posts some plenty as well and has gotten some Dottech exclusives on some as well,, just a heads up for htose that are considering it is all :)
other than that,,, good info :) thanks
Offlinethats a bummer.. whas hoping it wasnt :( though kinda had idea it was
really am havin hard time deciding on a freakin phone :P guess ill have to wait till i get back to the states and see whats avail and put my hands on them and see what i like :) i know plenty with the IP4 and love it.. but know peeps with droid as well.. win7 just too new and havent seen any live reviews from owners, only advertisement type reviews and you can never trust those 100% :P

Offlinefyi … Nokia phones are not "Droids". They run Symbian which is Nokia's own smartphone OS. I don't know much about it though.
I guess any phone running the Android OS could be called Droids, but "Droid" usually refers to a phone built by Motorola on Verizon's network running Verizon's take on the Android OS. There are lots of other smartphones running Android such as the Galaxy S variant produced by Samsung and on every network in the US (under different names for each carrier).
I'd say go for an iPhone4, but I'm admittedly biased. I had a 3G, now I have a iPhone4 and I also own an iPad (wifi-only). I do however, have a Win7Pro laptop and use Vista (yuck!) at work.
