Free CZ.CC domains for life (no credit card required)!

In November of last year I wrote about how everyone can get free CO.CC domains. Well now I am here to tell you about another very similar offer, except this time it is about free CZ.CC domains.

Like the CO.CC offer, users are allowed to register free CZ.CC domains and keep them for free for life (renewals are free); users can register up to 5 domains for free per account. Each domain comes with full DNS control (URL forwarding, nameserver control, and zone records control) so users can use the domains with any hosting service (see InMotion Hosting for great paid hosting or 000WebHost for free web hosting) or even use the domain to create their own custom e-mail address.

Also similar to CO.CC, you need not require a credit card to get a free CZ.CC domain but you do have to fill out a fairly extensive registration form.

So, the million dollar question is why use CZ.CC over CO.CC? Well, to be honest, there really is only one major reason to use CZ.CC over CO.CC: CZ.CC is not as popular as CO.CC so if the domain name you want is already taken on CO.CC it may not be taken on CZ.CC.

To get started, simply visit the CZ.CC homepage from the following link and search for your very own dream domain:

    @Someguy: Do you have hosting? If not you need hosting then you can “change” whats on it.

    As for CNAME, go to “Zone Records”.

    @Ashraf:
    What do you mean. Do you mean I need to pay for hosting? And I’m at Zone records. Where do I enter it? Once I’ll be done with it will to remove the thing in zone after I verify it. I still didn’t create the zone thing as I don’t know where I enter CNAME.

    @Someguy: You can get free or paid hosting:
    Free

    Paid

    For CNAME, go to Zone Records -> Create Zone Record. Fill out the little form (be sure to select “CNAME” from the drop down menu). What exactly are you trying to do?

    @Someguy: Uh dude, I have no idea what are you trying to do. What is your webhost? Why do you need to set zone records?

    I just want to create a custom email and have a website. That is it. And now that I finished verifying things for Google apps, can I delete the URL Redirect and Zone thing. Thank you for all your help.

    @Someguy: Oh did you setup Google Apps? Did you do all the MX records like it said? And no you can’t delete them after you are done.

    As for having a website, you need a webhost like I already explained.

    @Ashraf:
    So I have to keep the redirect. Then how will I have my website if it will only show google.com. And what MX records are you talking about. I did everything that it said in custom email list. It is really hard to do this as this service is not similar to the co.cc. I suggest you make an article about this.

    @Someguy:
    1) I already told you that you need a webhost to have a website. You can’t have one without it.
    2) Have you tried to follow the directions Google gives you? Follow them. The article on how to make a custom e-mail list is for CO.CC only.
    3) If your main domain is forwarding to Google.com, you are doing something wrong.

    Hope that helps.

    I honestly can say I have no idea about what I’m doing. Here it links to your way to setup email. I follow instructions that are weird and no I have no idea where I am.

    @Someguy: I don’t mean to be rude but I have already told you what to do. Try it and come back (I already told you the directions I gave were for CO.CC only), or I am sorry I can’t help you anymore.

    @Someguy: It is not that you bothered me. Rather, it is the fact that I am telling you what to do yet you are not doing it and then telling me you are lost; I can’t spoon feed you man. Do what I told you (in comment #13) then come ask me for more help if you still don’t understand.

    Ashraf, you are close to some kind of sainthood here. Someguy, I feel for ya man, free hosting, I think is what you want, also it would be better to have a geek friend come over and help out a bit. Good Luck to both of you here.

    The original suffix is .cc and the .cz.cc is a subdomain.

    someone somewhere has registered http://www.cz.cc and he is allowing others to create their domain on the back of it ;-)
