Today’s the 66th anniversary of the Roswell UFO incident and Google wants to remind everyone of that in their usual Google fashion. If you head over to Google’s homepage, you’ll be greeted with a cutely-designed alien in a UFO not unlike the company’s other Doodles. But if you click on it, you’ll find that its probably their most ambitious interactive Doodle yet.

The Doodle is actually a full-on point-and-click adventure game, where you’re tasked with playing an alien as he tries to rebuild his UFO after crashing. It’s definitely not as deep as something you’d expect from LucasArts adventure games of the past, but I’m pretty sure we never thought we’d playing anything like this on Google’s homepage not too long ago. The Roswell Doodle is currently rolling out, so if you don’t see it on your local homepage, you can check it out at Google’s UK site.

And if you’re seeing this a little late, you can find it along with all of the past Google Doodle’s right here.
