If you’ve already installed the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop software update, you might be looking to do just that with root access. BEFORE WE BEGIN 

HOW TO ROOT GALAXY A3 A300F ON ANDROID 5.0.2 LOLLIPOP

  1. Download the rooting package from here [3].
  2. Download the Odin version you want to use from here [4].
  3. Use the desktop of the Windows PC to download both of the aforementioned files above.
  4. Extract the files by right-clicking the mouse on the file and selecting the extraction option from the menu. Now you can use the contents inside.
  5. Completely power down the A3 smartphone by holding down the Power button and waiting until the screen switches off.
  6. Boot the A3 smartphone in Download Mode now by holding the Volume Down + Power + Home keys and waiting until the screen changes. You should see some writing and a warning triangle. It’s here you want to press the Volume Up key.
  7. Click the PDA button inside Odin and upload the rooting file (tar.md5 extension) from the file you have on the desktop.
  8. Click the Start button inside Odin and now wait until it flashes.
  9. It should reboot automatically because the Auto Reboot is automatically on inside Odin.

Now take control of your Google account once again and you can start using extra apps available from Google Play.
