  1. Download the updated CF-Root package for your Galaxy A3 device from this link [3].
  2. Download the Odin flashing tool from this link [3].
  3. Transfer the files from the default downloads location where they end on the computer over to the desktop.
  4. Right-click the mouse on the Odin flashing tool file and select the “extract here” option.
  5. Do the same thing, only this time for the CF-Root file.
  6. Double-click on the Odin flashing tool executable file. The Odin UI (user-interface) should open on your Windows computer.
  7. Make sure you have the Samsung USB Drivers running on the computer or else the rest of the guide will not work.
  8. Turn off the Samsung Galaxy A3 smartphone and reboot holding the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons and reach the download mode you need for flashing.
  9. Once done, connect it to the computer using the USB cable.
  10. Click the AP button and browse the desktop for the executable CF-Root file you extracted earlier.
  11. Click the Start button and the Odin tool will now flash that CF-Auto-Root exploit on your device.
  12. Wait until you can see the pass message box light up a green color. At the same time, your device should reboot.
  13. Now you are ready ot start installing your apps that require root access to the internal system to run.
