Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is official for the United States, will hit all major carriers in November

Remember that rumor I posted last week about how Samsung’s phablet Galaxy Note II is coming to the United States? Yeah, well, it is no longer a rumor — it is official.

Samsung has released an official press statement saying the Galaxy Note II will hit Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile USA, and US Cellular by “mid-November”. While pricing and exact availability for each carrier is not specified, we do know the American Galaxy Note II will be largely unchanged from the international version. That means you can expect to see a Galaxy Note II with 5.5 inch 1280×720 Super AMOLED HD display, LTE or HSPA+ (depending on carrier), 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB RAM, Android Jelly Bean, support for S-Pen stylus, and 16GB internal storage with up to 64GB expandable microSD slot.

Excited yet? I am… even though I probably won’t get this.
