    [@JonE] Pff, people and their old ways, after not noticing the beginning of this back in the 70s. At least try steganography, but you can’t hide your address.

    Only surefire way is to whisper to a trustworthy friend/family in a location free of surveillance. If impractical, encryption like Tor, Truecrypt, GnuPG, and RedPhone is far more secure than snail mail delivered by someone else.

    Inter personal relationships always worked pretty well in years gone by and the only thing you had to deal with then was the neighborhood busy body and if you wanted to have some kind of news spead around you usually knew who to tell.

    And if your concerned with privacy there is still a media that still exists today; write a letter and send it via USPS. Of course you’ll have to buy some envelopes and stamps.
