This is a short tutorial how you can make WinX DVD Ripper Platinum (v6.3.5) portable. After this you will be able to use WinX DVD Ripper Platinum 6.3.5 from wherever you want (USB drive, portable hard drive, etc.). This tutorial is comprised of four (4) short and easy to follow steps. In the last (4th) step you will be downloading the launcher that I created. It’s clean but feel free to check it with your favorite anti-virus/anti-malware program.
That said, let’s begin.
First you need to download and install WinX DVD Ripper Platinum (v6.3.5). You can skip this if you already have WinX DVD Ripper Platinum installed on your computer.
About WinX DVD Ripper Platinum 6.3.5 & download: http://dottech.org/freebies/23526/free-winx-dvd-ripper-platinum-v6-3-5/
Direct download link [giveaway page]: http://www.winxdvd.com/giveaway/
Create new folder on the desktop and name it WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Portable:
Make another new folder (i.e. a subfolder) in the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Portable folder and name it App:
Copy all folders and files from WinX DVD Ripper Platinum’s installation folder (the installation folder will be C:/Program Files/Digiarty/WinX_DVD_Ripper_Platinum unless you specifically installed it elsewhere) to the new App folder (Desktop –> WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Portable/Apps) you just created:
Download my custom launcher (link found below) and extract it into the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Portable folder:
Take note that the download is of a ZIP file. You need to extra the EXE that is contained within that file. It is the EXE — not the ZIP — that you need to place in the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Portable folder

Edit by Ashraf: The custom launcher found above has been created by 3K3 — not Ashraf or dotTech. While I am not saying 3k3 is a malicious person (in fact he is kind enough to post this guide for us!), you should do your due diligence before you use the launcher. (In other words, scan it with whatever you want until you are satisfied it is clean. This may be a good time to make use of those online multi-engine scanners .) For what it is worth, VirusTotal finds the custom launcher to be 100% clean . As always, you are the sole party responsible for your actions.
That’s it. Now you can copy the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Portable folder wherever you like, including any and all portable media such as USB/flash drives, portable hard drives, etc. Whenever you want to use WinX DVD Ripper Platinum, all you have to do is run the DVD Ripper Platinum.exe file (that is the custom launcher mentioned above)] found in your WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Portable folder.
