There are dozens if not hundreds of free image editing programs for Windows, and all but a few are created by and for their developers for one of a few specific tasks. They wind up weird and one-off, and are generally useless to the outside world. ImageMagick is different.
ImageMagick offers the standard array of image editing features. You can resize an image, flip it, mirror it, draw text and other graphics, and lots of other things. However, where it’s really useful is in its basic editing. Although it misses a lot of batch options and color adjustment options like previously covered programs do, it allows you to do basic image rotation, format conversion, and more.
Overall, ImageMagick is a relatively easy to use program, and while it’s certainly not the most useful program in the world, it’s still nice for basic editing abilities. Note that upon download, you may be confused as to which programs are which. ImageMagick comes with an extensive command line database, and to access the interface, you’ll need to open IMDisplay.exe.
