Ever wonder how the guy across the street can make a living by running a consulting company that performs seemingly simple computer tasks, such as installing anti-virus software or defragging hard drives? As a comic by Something of that Ilk puts it, “idiots” are the reason why IT people have job security.
[Note: I'm sorry if I offend any not-so-techie dotTechies. My intention is not to make fun of anyone. This is a comic. It is a joke. It is supposed to be funny. Laugh. Don't hate.]

And even good money for little work.
You could say the same for anything really, like car mechanics for instance.I do most of my own work on my car,and all on my PC(I am a techie).
If people would rather pay for knowledge and experience rather than doing/learning it themselves, fair enough. There is always the fact that it’s usually guaranteed when a ‘pro’ does it,this is the reason I put my car in the garage when I do…if it’s a risky job and they muck it up,it’s them that has to put it right,if you do it yourself and muck it up,your left with a bust product.
